Mel Wickham joins the New York team and London welcomes home Sally Heath

Absolute Post New York has appointed Melanie Wickham as Executive Producer. Wickham will oversee all production workflow and daily operations, reporting directly to Absolute’s CEO, David Smith. Melanie’s predecessor, Sally Heath, will become joint MD with Andy Barmer of the company’s London office.

"We are so happy to have Mel Wickham joining us,” said Smith. “Her passion for the business and our community, constant striving for better work and meticulous attention to detail make her one of the best Executive Producers for the global post industry. We are excited and privileged to have her join Absolute and with Mel in the NYC driving seat I am certain we will continue to succeed with our American endeavors."

“Everyone at Absolute strives for excellence, as evidenced by the outstanding work they deliver,” added Wickham. “For me, it’s all about the creative so I’m confident that I’ll feel right at home. They are passionate about what they do, and that kind of passion is contagious.”

Wickham began her production career at The Mill, where she spent seven years in both the London and New York offices as a Producer and then Senior VFX Producer. In 2007 she joined Animal Logic Sydney, where she was later promoted to Executive Producer. During that time Melanie worked with a host of renowned directors, including Noam Murro, Bruce Hunt, Steve Rogers and Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

Most recently, Wickham has been Freelancing at The Mill Los Angeles. Some of her latest work includes: Adidas “Bull” for Imperial Woodpecker and 180, Toyota “Built” for MJZ and Saatchi & Saatchi, and a Reebok campaign for Smuggler and McGarryBowen.
